You will learn to center your clay on the wheel, and create a bowl / vessel using STONEWARE clay which is oven, dishwasher, microwave safe! Try it classes are great for all levels. Class includes instruction, demonstration and the basic for beginning to use the wheel. You will prepare your clay and learn to properly clean and care for the wheel. Please dress for mess and bring an apron or towel for your lap. Aprons are not provided. Firing your piece is not included in the $45 price. This is a true TRY IT class! You can make as many pieces as you want and if you'd like to keep pots, it will be a $18 per pot firing fee. You will return to glaze you pot after approx. 2 weeks.
