Day 1 Becoming a Bob Ross Instructor with Stacey Sparrow Oct 4th 10am-5pm

Explore Bob Ross! The man, the myth, the legend! A few years ago I attended a Bob Ross certification course and became one of the only Certified instructors in New England. These classes have been instrumental to my studios growth. The decision to become a certified instructor is one that I did not take lightly as it is a very big commitment. I wanted to offer everyone a little insight to the process before committing…. if it is something you are considering. Join me for a one day workshop to learn what these classes have done for my studio. Bob Ross classes alone bring over $75,000 a year into my studio teaching one class a week. This is NOT a certification course, however we will discuss what to expect at the course, marketing for your classes, as well as teaching tips and tricks. Take the guesswork out of how to set up these classes, how to save on materials and how to fill seats. You will participate in a full length oil painting Bob Ross style class led by me your certified a Bob Ross instructor!! Materials and Lunch will be provided followed by a presentation on everything you need to know regarding Bob Ross classes and certification.

Day 2 with Crysten Conner / Lets Get Personal Pottery Oct 5th 10am

Make more money with the pottery sitting on your shelves! I ventured into the ‘pottery world’ 14 years ago. I had no experience with pottery, I had never heard of clear glaze and couldn’t program a kiln if my life depended on it. My entire business model is based on private handprint/footprint pottery events that are hosted in homes, businesses or wherever the hostess chooses. In 2021, I sold almost $500K in handprint pottery…and I don’t even have a full-time employee. While my studio is over 6K square feet, I don’t have business hours and don’t allow walk ins. Whether you are interested in learning about how you can add private handprint events to your business or you just want to step up your in studio handprint custom sales, my class is for you. I will walk you through my methodology for finding the right hostesses, training my customers, setting up an event and marketing my events. I will also have an in person demonstration with some willing (and probably unwilling) kiddos to teach you how to obtain the perfect print every time, regardless of age. I will also show you how I imprint hands and feet into clay. We will have a lettering session (I hand letter all of my pieces with a paint brush – no writer bottles for me!) $150 includes lunch and a full day of instruction and demonstration. $125 for a virtual option.
