6-Week Intermediate Pottery Wheel Throwing This 6-week intermediate series is designed for students who are confident centering and pulling basic forms and are ready to advance their wheel skills. The focus will be on creating larger pots, exploring sectional forms, learning to throw off the hump, and developing closed forms and lidded jars. This session is all about refining technique, improving consistency, and expanding your range as a potter. Class time is dedicated entirely to throwing, trimming, and skill development. All glazing is completed outside of class so we can focus on creating during our sessions. After you finish, you will leave your piece with us to dry slowly for 2-3 weeks. You will emailed on the email you provide us with when your piece is ready for pickup. All clay projects are ONLY HELD for 30 days from when we send email. No exceptions. Then you can paint in studio. We will fire it one more time to give you your complete project!. These are perfect for buffet serving, or keep one and gift one! This class is open to ages 12+! Please bring an apron or towel. Your ticket includes all materials for two spoon rests, instruction, firing, glazing in the colors of your choice and 2nd firing! Projects will be left with us for 2-3 weeks to slowly dry. You will receive an email at the email you provide once your projects are ready for pickup. All clay projects are held for 30 days from when the email is sent. *NO EXCEPTIONS* You can return to paint at your leisure *ON RARE OCCASION clay projects have accidents in the kiln. Paint like Bob in one day! Join our certified Bob Ross instructor as we walk you through step by step. All materials are included. These classes are done in oil paint, so please dress accordingly. Ages 13+ welcome. Please arrive no earlier than 15 mins before class. Class will start promptly at 3pm.
Animal Summer Art Camp (Ages 8–12)
Our Summer Art Camps are designed for kids who truly love to create. Throughout the week, young artists will explore a variety of artistic techniques while developing creativity, confidence, and problem-solving skills in a supportive studio environment.
Each day, campers will work with professional art materials and learn new processes including pottery painting, clay hand-building, pottery wheel experiences, canvas painting, and watercolor. Students are encouraged to experiment, make artistic choices, and build their technical skills while creating unique pieces they’ll be proud of.
This camp is perfect for children who enjoy art and want to grow their abilities while learning new techniques alongside other creative kids.
All artwork is professionally glazed and kiln-fired in our studio, so projects are durable and ready to take home and enjoy.
We wrap up each week with a Friday Pizza Party to celebrate the campers’ hard work and creativity!
